I’ve spoken before about the wonderful Valerie Metrijean, owner of Southern Fete, an incredible wedding planner here in Lafayette, LA. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Valerie for the first time, during Summar + Stewart’s wedding and then again on New Year’s Day for Brandy + Steve’s wedding.
Since working with Val, I have realized the importance and the value of what she does. However, not every one is able to have a wedding planner and so she’s hosting a workshop for these brides. Read more for details on “Fete Connection.”

Since December 2009, Valerie has been working hard to put together an affordable workshop for brides unable to hire a wedding planner. And she’s finally DONE IT! 🙂

But the part that’s most unique is:
“Each session will be with a group of 3-6 brides in a comfortable atmosphere to foster relationships beyond the session. The sessions will be grouped based on wedding date, budget and style and take place on Saturdays.”
