Dom whipped her head around and said to me with disbelief, “You’ve never heard of Pinterest?!!!” Apparantely, I was out the loup. It was this past weekend and we were browsing the shops of the Outlet mall in Biloxi, an outing on our Girls’ trip that we had been planning for weeks. It was our time to get away, to relax, and to discuss things…like Pinterest. 🙂
“NO!!…but apparantely I should no about it!” was my response. According to her disbelief I was really NOT in ‘The Know.’ She went on to describe a website that allowed you to tag inspiration online and save it while also displaying it for others to see. She said was kind of like facebook but for art and design..and other types of inspiraton.
“Val, can you believe Cat has never heard of Pinterest?” 🙂 :)…ok ok ok. So, I got it. I needed to find out what it was. I was listening!!! 🙂 I got home and one of the first things I did was log onto Pinterest. I had NO idea what I was doing and felt a little like my mom looks when she sits at the computer (no offense mom…I still love you.) I signed up for an account and I started pinning.
And I LOVE the pouring in of inspiration (ESPECIALLY regarding weddings). I’ve seen some of the most beautiful wedding gowns, modern cakes, and more. And I immediately thanked Dom for introducing me to yet another addicting social network (not that I needed another on the list).

So cool! Thanks for sharing this. By the way…since the class I took with you at Shadows on the Teche and you just mentioned HDR. Well I’ve basically taught myself HDR braketing shooting and processing. again, so cool!!
