Be prepared…because you’re about to read about a couple that will touch your heart (they’ve absolutely touched mine)……

…….It’s kind of crazy to believe that God brought them together so long ago. Caitlin was in the 7th grade, and Rob was in his freshman year of high school. They met at the First Baptist Church (the same place they would one day be wed). They met through the Solid Rock Cafe’, a part of the church that hung out together on the weekends. And although Caitlin was so young at the time and her parents were not ready for her to begin dating, Rob was patient and happy to wait for a woman he knew was special.

When I first met Caitlin, it was at the City Club Bridal Show; Rob was right by her side. If you’ve EVER been to a bridal show before, then you know that if there’s a man there with his fiance’, he’s a catch. 😉 What a gentleman?!!! Caitlin is super bubbly and so incredibly genuine….and I think it’s absolutely amazing that she has found her perfect match, a true southern gentleman.

If you haven’t seen my most recent post on the sermon from their wedding, then you should DEFINITELY take a second to do so. Caitilin’s grandfather wrote the most beautiful words describing the “Secrets to a Lasting Marriage.”

Their pink and ivory wedding day was inspired by their traditional values and sense for old fashion romance. Caitlin’s favorite purchase was her wedding gown and shoes…and Rob’s was Caitlin’s ring. 🙂 <—Even THAT just makes my heart happy! Caitlin + Rob’s day was every bit as Christ-centered, elegant, and romantic and anyone could hope for and I feel just SO special that Amelia and I were there to capture the day.

Rob…I can see why Caitlin’s ring ws your favorite detail. 🙂

….and I can understand why Caitlin’s lace dress and fabulous shoes were hers!

Caitlin + Rob opted to do a First Look! This was the moment right before…..

…..and Rob’s expression when he saw Caitlin for the first time on their wedding day! THIS says it all! I love when couples opt to do a First Look, because the couple can just FEEL and react however they want, with no one else around! 🙂

Caitlin was nervous for the day, but she said the moment that Rob had her in his arms, she felt better.

The First Baptist church provided SO many awesome locations for us to shoot. It was ridiculously hard trying to PICK which images to put on the blog today! lol

Caitlin is just SO loving and SO loved…she even had a set of church attendants to share in her special day!

Every. Single. Detail. for their wedding was thought through…..Caitlin had trumpets during her entrance and exit to really emphasize the excitement that they felt on their wedding day!

On the alter, Caitlin and Rob had a tropical display of florals!!! L.O.V.E.

This moment was adorable: During the cermeony, the ring bearer walked to the edge of the alter and just peered out. 🙂

Caitlin wore a blue topaz on her right hand, a gift from her grandfather to her aunt.

I adore the way the flowers framed the bridal party as they watched their friends that they love so much promise to spend their lives loving each other. (The four P’s)! 🙂

The vows:

After the vows, Caitlin + Rob took a moment (the length of a song) to pray together. The guests at their wedding sat in silence as well as they also prayed for a beautiful life for these two.

….It was a rainy day, but it didn’t phase this beautiful couple! 🙂 This was taken during their limo ride to City Club.

Caitlin + Rob’s lovely…and tasty, wedding cake!

I may be biased, but THIS is one of the COOLEST groom’s cakes I’ve EVER seen.

The reception was so much fun and a great chance for Caitlin + Rob to catch up with their closest friends and family members as they congratulated the couple!

During the reception, Caitlin’s brother sang “A Thousand Years” to the newlyweds. And I’ve been listening to the song on repeat since!

It didn’t take long for everyone to gather around and share in this moment.

WOW…where do I begin with you? You’re so special in every way but especially in your love for the Lord. Thank you for setting a precedent for what a marriage should and can look like! You are both so wonderful for the other, and I bet that God was smiling down when you said I DO. Thank you for having us there to share in your special day…and to document it for all the years to come.
