The only thing they don’t have in common is her laid back and non-competitive nature…Oh, and that she loves to shop. Their birthdays are a week apart, love the same music and share in the same moral values. In fact, they had one of the highest scores on the Catholic Couples pre-wedding retreat.

Their journey started two years ago, although they have been in contact since middle school. Their first night out, Tristan did something that he would do for the rest of his life…”took care of Jency.” 🙂 They have NO doubt one of the most obvious, sweet and sincere connections I’ve seen. And it’s SO lovely when Tristan look at Jency because you can see in his eyes that his heart melts.

During the mass, Father shared what each loved about the other: their personalities! They love the fun they have with one another and their ability to laugh at life together. Jency has been called Skittles and Smiley in the past because she’s always smiling and loves things that are colorful. <—Needless to say, there was NO lack of PINK on the wedding day!!

Jency wanted a wedding that was vintage, romantic, and unique. And everything from Jency + Tristan’s engagements to Jency’s bridals proved that she has strong knack for creating her own details. On JUST her wedding day, everything from her jewelry to her bridesmaids jewelry and reception details had bits of Jency in it. And her absolutely favorite details were of course her fabulous dress…and the back drop for her cake!

Jency + Tristan, we had such a wonderful time shooting your wedding! I hope that your trip to Mexico was a blast and thank you again so much for choosing us to photograph your wedding day. It’s been SO awesome getting to know you both…and your friends and families as well!!!

Jency’s bridesmaids actually had their dresses custom made! They were so different.

A little touch of Jency in her jewelry. 🙂

Jency, you are GORRGEEOUSSS!!!!!!

I absolutely love when a couple has a vision for their day and is able to execute it in everything!

Tristan truly has one of the biggest hearts I’ve seen. He loves Jency through and through…and so openly. And the kids, they just flock to him.

Amelia spent some time with the guys before the wedding and grabbed this adorable.

🙂 🙂 🙂

The Gougenheim has SUCH a cool feel to it!

Such a beautiful bridal party….

We’re never too old to have fun.

Check OUT this group of studs.

Just before we left for the church, Jency’s mom Mrs. Garneth had an emotional moment with Jency. 🙂

These are the moments that I really love having the opportunity to capture on a wedding day because they will forever bring them back to this feeling.

And the tears started to fill his eyes the moment she walked through the door.

Can you blame him? Jency is practically glowing in the light! She’s so beautiful…inside and out.

The vows are my favorite part of the wedding day.

I just love the way she looks at him.

Their first kiss as husband and wife.

Mr. and Mrs. Tristan Landry!

Being that Tristan and Jency opted not to do a first look, we caught the LAST bit of daylight…thankfully 🙂 🙂 with these next few images…

AH!!! LOVE.

I believe this is one of my favorites from the wedding day!

Oh my goodness, could you two be ANY more adorable?!

I mean, really, Jency has the sweetest/happiest smile!

….and we’re off to the reception:

The florals…WOW. I could go on and on about how absolutely gorgeous everything was. All I can say is, the hard work paid off!

There was also the cutest dessert bar!

Their first dance as husband and wife.

…When she’s in his arms.

Like I said earlier, Tristan seems to love with an open heart and is unafraid to just be. When he danced with his mom…it was obvious. 🙂

Their cake was so detailed and one of the prettiest I’ve seen!

We had so much fun working with you guys!

Congratulations you guys! I’m so thankful and honored to have been a part of your wedding day….

I couldn’t be happier that two people who are so genuinely in love are now committed to spending the rest of their lives together.
