“I Put My Heart in Your Hand.”
That’s exactly what she did on that Cinco de Mayo. They hit it off from the start; and in the time I spent with them this past Sunday, their connection was obvious to me. Sarah laughed constantly and I could tell how comfortable she felt with Nathan.
Their history on the water didn’t just start this weekend, however. It dates all the way back to their engagement. On Nathan’s birthday, Sarah planned a surprise cruise for him….but Nathan had a plan of his own: To surprise Sarah with a ring.
So there they were, Sarah gifting Nathan with all the things that she knew he would appreciate for his birthday. But she was bewildered by his look of complete sadness when he opened his final gift. Hurt, and almost to tears she asked Nathan what was wrong.
With a simple statement he explained it all: “You know that feeling you get when you open all of your gifts at Christmas, and you didn’t get the one thing you actually wanted?” Sarah, still lost and confused asked him what exactly it was he felt was missing.
His response was, “You. For the rest of my life.”
Sarah + Nathan,
Thank you for allowing me to capturing the love that exists between the two of you and the fun that you share with one another. Looking back, I’m not QUITE sure how we made it through the session without a full set of laughing photos. You two surely know how to enjoy life with each other!!!
I will be posting the second half of your session tomorrow…stay tuned! 🙂
