The NEW Site has Launched: Louisiana Wedding Photography [catherineguidry.com]

I couldn’t be more excited to announce the launch of my new website! I owe many thanks to Promise Tangeman and the crew of SiteHouse for their help at the Go+Live event.

At the end of last year, I decided that I wanted to simplify things. I needed my website to be an extension of my brand…something simple and elegant. 🙂 I finally feel like my website is just that!

So in today’s post, I just wanted to include a few shots of my new site and a little bit about each section:::::

The thing I’m MOST excited about in my new site is the inclusion of primarily film work. Since April of last year, I’ve been developing my skills as a hybrid photographer (meaning that I shoot both film and digital) … not video, medium formal stills. And I’m excited that I’m finally in a good place with this! I’m currently shooting all of my sessions in film and a handful of rolls are shot on the wedding day as well!

The next page below is the ABOUT page! It’s designed to give my clients a chance to know a little more about me! 🙂 I’d like to give a special thanks also to Troy + Aimee Grover for the photograph in the center taken during the SiteHouse Go+LIVE event!

One new addition to the site is a “BEHIND THE SCENES gallery!” I want visitors to have the chance to see me in action…so this is the very spot to do so! I really enjoy the interaction between my camera and my clients…so I hope this shows in the gallery.

 

Last year I had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of working with Allison + Peter of Makemade on my most recent Promo VIDEO.  The video is a little less than one minute long and gives a quick peak into my personality. Because photography is such a personal interaction…especially wedding photography I wanted visitors to have an idea of who I am and wh

 

AH! The PORTFOLIO! This is my favorite part. I set up my portfolio a little differently this time around. Rather than showcasing all of my favorite images from all weddings, I chose my three favorite to show a bit of variety. Also featured in the portfolio are favorite images from past bridal and engagement sessions and styled shoots!

The next area is one I’m pretty proud of because I created the majority of it from scratch through Showit! 🙂 In the “MORE INFO” area, you’ll find  a landing page that takes you to either the TESTIMONIALS section …. or an area with links to all previous FEATURED BLOGS!

Below is a screenshot of the TESTIMONIALS section. I love this section of the website because the relationships that I build with my clients is something that I take great pride in. I always do my very best to create a great and professional experience….and I love being able to share past clients’ sweet words.

The PRESS section is so cool…because when visiting this page you can actually reference each and every previous blog post regarding a featured engagement session or wedding! It’s a huge honor to have images selected for publication so I really enjoy being able to celebrate these couples in this section.

And the last area is an important one: the CONTACT section! 🙂 If you are a future bride, past bride, or photographer please stop by and say hi! 🙂
